Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"The restaurant was in a very good location for 2 very tired people coming out theaze that is the Vatican Museums! We had Caprese Salad and a sausage meat and mushroom pizza. Both were delicious. The staff were wonderful, friendly and helped with the menu. Can you believe we were able to eat outside in February."
"This spot was not a place I planned on going to at first. I was looking for a restaurant to try after my visit to the Vatican and what a great choice I made coming here. The service was great and the food that me and my girlfriend had was outstanding. My girlfriend got the spaghetti Al pesto which was probably the best pesto pasta we have had in our time in Rome. As for the lasagna that I got, it was amazing and had a great flavor with the béchamel and tomato sauce oozing between each layer of the pasta sheets. They are not shy with the size and they give you a lot. The Cesar salad was good and I respected how they grated fresh Parmesan on it. The pizza also wasn’t the best I’ve had but still was made with fresh ingredients and had a great flavor and crust. It was also very light and I was able to eat the whole pie to myself after the lasagna. Everything was fresh and the prices were also great as well. I’m disappointed in myself for not visiting one more time before leaving Rome. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a nice restaurant to eat after your visit to the Vatican!"
"This was our second visit, and once again everything was excellent. Every dish impressed us. The seafood — especially the shrimp seafood risotto, clam pasta, and the six large grilled prawns — was the best we’ve had in Rome. The prawns were plump, sweet, and refreshing with lemon and orange slices. The eggplant pasta was unique, and the beer, Aperol Spritz, and desserts were all great. The restaurant looks modest from outside but has a charming interior. The staff were quiet and a bit shy, yet very sweet, and even gave us a rose before we left. A must-visit restaurant in Rome. Highly recommended!"
"The pasta was perfect. Will come again when we visit this part of Rome again. And the anti pasta was a great way to start. The desert was the topper on our lunch. And a special thank you to Angel, you are the best."
"The food was amazing and everything was absolutely delicious! The portions were so big that we couldn’t finish it all haha. Even though we are Japanese, everyone was very kind to us. We could talk with the staff and they even gave us some extra service, which we really appreciated. If I come to Italy again, I will definitely visit this place!"
"The food was phenomenal and they were able to accommodate our party of nine. It was the perfect place to stop for lunch after our visit at the Vatican. All of the food and the drinks were amazing!"
"Ottimo!! Delicious! After our Vatican Tour, this was the perfect finish! Max was the sweetest!! We all had amazing entrees, drinks and cappuccinos. Highly recommend!!"
"Great place with a delicious food. I ordered something else than what was served, but in return I received free food and also my own. Limoncello and candy at the end. Great place! Delicious sea food pasta"
